Student Drop off and Pick up

Dear parent(s) and guardian(s),

I am writing this letter to once again remind you of proper student drop-off and pick up procedures.  All students that are dropped off or picked up from school should be done so on the East side of the school, on Mansfield, in the drop off area.  Disruption to the flow of traffic has been seen on South Mayfield before and after school.  In an effort to alleviate that congestion, the city has made 81st to 81pl a No Standing or Stopping Zone.  Please do not drop off any students on the 81st. street.  Detective Michelson will be out there the next few days to assist with this issue.  Once again, if you are dropping off or picking up, please do so on 81st and Mansfield.

Thank You in advance for your cooperation,

Mr. Mark Antkiewicz

Dear parents or guardians,

I am writing you this letter inform you of a new program that I will be utilizing for the remainder of the school year.  The program is called Remind.  The Remind program is group messaging system that allows the school to send messages to all the members that have registered to receive the group message, like the district utilizes for school outreach messages.  If you subscribe to the program, I would use the program to notify or “Remind” students and parents of important events and important dates.  The program limits the amount of characters that I can use so the reminders will be brief.  I have attached instructions on the back of this letter if you are interested in signing up for this program.  It will work on smart phones or any other phone via a text message.  If you have any questions, please feel free to give me a call at (708) 952-3255.  I hope that you will take advantage of this useful tool to stay informed.
