Bring your smiles to Picture Day on Tuesday, October 2nd. All students are invited to participate in Dress-Up/Picture Day. Students are asked to follow the guidelines when choosing clothes to wear on these special days.
All student attire is expected to be covered from their shoulders to just above the knee. Any clothing that is tight or flimsy to the point of immodesty or ripped/torn jeans cannot be worn. Shirts should be appropriately fitting with non-revealing neckline. Arms may be exposed, but shoulders must be completely covered. Shorts, Skirts and dresses are required to be just above the knee. Slits in shorts, skirts, dresses are required to be no higher than mid-thigh. Bare midriffs or backs are NOT permitted. The stomach and back cannot be revealed while engaged in normal school activity, i.e., sitting, bending. All undergarments or underwear must NOT be visible. Student's clothing and grooming should not be offensive, obscene, represent tobacco, drugs or alcohol, or depict violence. Clothing is to be worn as they are intended (jeans, shorts, skirts, etc. must be worn at the waist.) Acceptable footwear must be worn at all times. Students should not wear shoes such as flip-flops, high heels/stilettos or shoes with cloth soles, which may cause a safety hazard. Jackets are considered to be outerwear and are not to be worn inside the building.
We want our students to look and feel their best on this day, but we still need to maintain an environment that is safe, distraction-free, and supports a learing environment.
