Byrd 6th Grade Teacher Mr. Ed Fialek applied for a STEM grant and won the opportunity for himself and 3 other teachers, Mrs O'Riordan, Mrs. Hammad, and Miss Russell, to participate in the Energizing Student Potential (ESP) program, a STEM-focused energy program for grades 5 - 8. This program will help their school meet Next generation Science Standards goals, engage students in learning about energy within STEM, and help energize the energy workforce of tomorrow. ** An ESP Energy Fair Kit to host and Energy Fair and Carnival
** Access to Educational Energy Audits, Field trips and Classroom Visits

** Connections to STEM professionals to help students see all the possibilities of STEM and Energy Careers
