Parent-Teacher Conferences 2023

November 20th and 21st

 
Parent-teacher conferences are designed for teachers to discus with parents/guardians information about their students' progress, strengths, and areas where improvement is needed. Conducting effective parent-teacher conferences can boost family involvement in the classroom and help promote positive outcomes for you, your students, and your school.
 
Parent-teacher conferences is a great opportunity to:
  • Share academic progress and growth based on classroom observations, testing data, assessments and assignments.
  • learn from parents or guardians to be better informed about students strengths, needs, behaviors, and learning styles.
  • discuss issues that may be interfering with students learning and growth.
 
All Parents/Guardians are encouraged to schedule a meeting with their students Teacher(s).

General Information

  • Conference sign-up opens on Wednesday, November 1st.
  • Conferences may be scheduled up until Tuesday, November 21st or when all time slots are filled.
  • Scheduling of all conferences is done online, and time slots based on a first-come, first served basis.
  • All meetings with teachers will have an option to have an in-person or virtual (via Microsoft Teams) conference. Please indicate when you book your appointment.
  • Meeting lengths will vary by grade:
    • Grades K-5: 15 minutes
    • Grades 6-8:
      • Teacher Team Meeting: 10 minutes
      • Physical Education: 10 minutes
      • Electives: 10 minutes
  • If you encounter any difficulties with booking a meeting, please contact your student's school.
  • Please ensure that you input a valid and correct email address and telephone number when scheduling.
  • If you have selected virtual meeting, information on how to access the virtual meeting will be sent to the email address that you provided when you booked the appointment.
    • Microsoft Teams meetings can be accessed through any computer.
    • You do not need your student's computer to access the virtual meeting.
 

How to Book Your Parent-Teacher Conference

  1. Select your student's school from the links below.
  2. On the booking page select your desired meeting date and time from the calendar November 20th or November 21st.
  3. Select your student's teacher from the drop down menu.
    • You can check your students schedule on PowerSchool to see who their teacher is.
  4. Select a meeting time from the available time slots.
  5. Enter your details and any additional information.
  6. Click Book button.
  7. A confirmation email will be sent once you have scheduled your conference.

  3. Select the team your student is on. Conferences will be meeting with your student's teachers as a group.
    • Check your students schedule on PowerSchool to check what team of teachers your student currently has.
  4. Elective classes select your student's teacher teams and desired time.
  5. Enter your details and any additional information.
  6. Click Book button.
  7. A confirmation email will be sent once you have scheduled your conference.
