Santa Visits District 111 Schools

Celebrate the Season with BSD111 and Our Community Heroes! We’re thrilled to share a special video highlighting the incredible Santa visit to all our BSD111 schools! This festive compilation is set to the beautiful voices and music of our LJHS Choir. A big thank you to the City of Burbank Fire Dept, Police Dept, and our Mayor for helping make this celebration so memorable! Young Authors Contest

The Young Authors Contest promotes writing and creativity by encouraging children to write an original story and present it in book form. The contest is open to all students in Kindergarten through 8th Grade. Submissions are due Thursday, January 8.

PreSchool Screening

Do you have a 3- or 4-year-old ready to learn, play, and grow? McCord Early Learning Center is now enrolling students into our Preschool program! Our classrooms are filled with hands-on learning, friendship, and fun—all in a nurturing environment designed to help every child shine.

2025-2026 Bus Routes

AM and PM Bus Routes have been posted for our Elementary Schools and for Liberty Junior High School. Eligible students should have also received route information via email. A student is eligible for transportation if the student resides 1.5 miles or more from his/her assigned school or must cross a street determined to be a hazardous crossing.

District 111 Supports Immigration Rights

We want to reassure you that our schools are safe and welcoming places for every child. Attached is a letter from Dr. Fleck that explains our district’s commitment to providing all students with a free and equal education, regardless of immigration status, and outlines the policies we follow to ensure student safety and support. Please take a few minutes to read the attached letter and resources. Thank you for being an important part of our school community.
PASS After School Care Program

2025-2026 PASS Registration

Registration for the PASS Program (after-school care for students in grades Kdg - 7) will open Tuesday, May 27 at 10:00 am. Registration will include a $55.00 non-refundable fee, which will be applied to the first week next year. In order to complete the registration process, all previous outstanding balances for PASS must be paid in full. Space is limited and on a first come first serve basis.

TalkingPoints Messaging Platform for Families

We are excited to announce that District 111 will be using TalkingPoints to communicate with parents and guardians.  TalkingPoints is a two-way multilingual family engagement platform helping teachers and school leadership stay connected with families via text message.  Next week, you will receive a message from your child’s school regarding TalkingPoints.
