Summer School Begins Monday, July 6

Hello Summer School Families,
We look forward to seeing your child tomorrow, July 6th, at 8:00am for the first day of Summer School. Students will be greeted by staff, taken to breakfast and guided to their classrooms. School uniforms are not required and you will not need to send school supplies. If you have any questions, please reach out to [email protected].

Free Meals for Children and Teens: July 6-30

Burbank School District 111 is pleased to announce that it will once again be providing free meals to children this summer as a participant of the Seamless Summer Food Service Program (SFSP). All children 18 and under are invited to participate.

Illinois Sunbucks 2026

Please see the attached Q&A regarding Summer EBT. Burbank School District 111 participates in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) for free meals. Therefore, all households are encouraged to check the IDHS Summer EBT screener to determine if a Summer EBT application may be needed.

Student Registration Days

District 111 will hold in-person Student Registration days for families who need assistance or to turn in documents. *NOTE - the June Date was changed to June 24 due to inclement weather. See the flyer for details.

Liberty Junior High School Graduation Ceremony

Liberty's 8th Grade Graduation Ceremony will be streaming live Tuesday, May 19 at 7:00 pm. Video will be available to purchase. Congratulations and best wishes to the Class of 2026!

Liberty Graduation Ceremony Photos

Van Gogh School Photographers will be taking photos at Liberty's Graduation Ceremony. A link to your child's gallery will be emailed approximately 7 days after the ceremony. Congrats to the Class of 2026!

2026-2027 PASS Registration

District 111 offers a comprehensive after-school care program for students in Grades K-7. PASS Program registration for the 2026-27 school year will open on July 7. The link to the registration form will be posted on that day on the PASS Program web page. Please note - all previous outstanding balances for PASS must be paid in full in order to register for 2026-27.

Spelling Champ to Compete at National Spelling Bee

Please join us in celebrating Kirsten C. From Liberty Junior High School. Tonight, she won the 16th Annual ISC Spelling Bee Championship for all of Cook County! She is going to Washington DC in May to compete in the National Spelling Bee! Congrats and best wishes to Kirsten!
