Continuum of Services

Burbank SD 111 provides a continuum of services for students with identified disabilities. Students with disabilities are serviced within the least restrictive environment to the greatest extent appropriate. If appropriate, special education services will be provided within the general education environment. If due to the nature of the disability, services need to be provided in a smaller more intensive manner outside of the general education environment.

Speech/Language itinerant services are provided to elgibile students. Resource services, instructional level services and self-contained services are also offered within the District. A student requiring more intensive service or requiring very specialized service may receive the service outside of their home school or home school district.
